About This Station

This station is located in Dallas, TX USA at an elevation of 600ft.

The weather data on this site is supplied by a Davis VP2+ station with solar and UV sensors. The temperature/humidity sensors are protected by a 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield (powered by solar during the day and batteries at night). The station is mounted on a tripod approximately 6.5 feet above ground.

The data is sent from the station every 2.5 seconds and processed by WeatherCat and uploaded to this site. Highly variable data (temperature, wind, solar, etc.) is uploaded several times per minute and other data (such as station graphs) every 15 minutes.
